Zafer Ercan

Zafer Ercan is Turkish, and speaks only Turkish. He graduated from the Ankara Police Acadamy in 1996. He earned a Masters Degree in Forensic Science at the Istanbul University Forensics Institute in 2004, where he specialized in Adolescents and Substances of Addiction. He later completed Istanbul University's 360 hour Addiction Counselors Certification Program in 2006. He has continually increased his knowledge of addictive substances in relation to career as a police officer, eventually being promoted to Chief of Narcotis Division, Istanbul Police Department, where he expanded the duties to include Outreach and Prevention Activities. Zafer is known nationally as an accomplished motivational and prevention speaker for more than 700 private and public institutions, especially within the national education system.

Zafer has also authored 3 books and 5 Comic Books in Turkish toward drug education and prevention within families and adolescents.
